This has worried me since I saw how little actually holds them in place, i don't really like relying on this setup now.

Tyre and axle come of down the road the quote says the standard flares are $680! I found good aftermarket ones for 350 and needs;
Axle
Brakes
Backing plate
Bearings
Seal
And a full set of flares they coulda just got a shit one of eBay I wouldn't care I hit them all the time

If you are comfortable payin that go for it, but to me it is pure and simple ass-rape, you are only a young bloke but you must be earnin a shitload more than me to afford that. Your Jeep is gunna break sometime so i reckon find a good mechanic or start doin some of the stuff yourself.
FYI had exactly the same thing happen to me .

Axle $50
pads/wheel cyl. $100
Backing plate $20
Bearings and seal kit $50
My Labour 6 pack

TJ-JeepersCreepers

Yeah I know they having a go at me but I don't have time to fix it the only reason I can pay it is because I'm always working
