tj steering

has anyone out there had the problem of the track bar (panhard rod ) hitting against the steering damper on a tj wrangler ? how do i fix this?:wall:

Order a spacer bracket from Black Jack welding

While you are waiting for your Blackjackwelding bracket, you can space it out a bit (I used 3 washers) but you are limited to the length of the bolt.

you need to weld the BlackJack bracket on

Our bracket may be bolted on, but you can weld it on if you rather.

Ah sweet, this helps heaps. My new replacement damper got smashed the day after it was installed =( That was the last generic mechanic I ever trusted! Now only got meself to blame.
