Does anybody know if USA left hand drive engine mounts will work here on a right hand drive vehicle. Read differing reports and dont want to import the wrong parts.
Thanks
I got some aftermarket engine mounts for my TJ from the USA and they bolted straight on.
I believe there is RHD specific mounts for XJ's only.
If you want stock TJ engine mounts, I have a pair in very good condition - only took them out because I wanted to do a MML.

Thanks for that Wes I am looking at the MML rubber ones from iron rock offroad. Thanks for the offer of the standard ones.

No worries, I got the MML rubber bushing mounts from Browndog and they bolted straight on.

Good to hear kiwi i look forward to them arriving
The instructions from Browndog cover this but it's really important.
Loosen the transmission mount nuts on the TC skid plate.
On my '97 3 speed, there are 4 nuts recessed in these slots.

Loosen both engine mounts but only take one off at a time.
You will need a 18mm spanner/socket to remove the 'through' bolt on the stock mounts.
I mention this because it's an unusual size and most sets won't have it.
It's a pain to go to Repco and get one half through the install. :hump:
Are you doing a BL as well?
