Xj noise when driving.

Ok here is the situation I have.

Driving along 100k's back off let the car roll. I get this soft vibration/humming noise. It only happens when I back off though. On the gas no vibration/humming. But if I turn a left corner it's there. Turn right corner it's not. At first I thought tyres humming but found it odd to only do it when off the gas.

Going to check the front wheel bearings this weekend and the oils in the transfer aswell as diff oils. Trans oil is spot on.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Previous owner had also installed new front hubs and bearings aswell.

Drop the front tailshaft and take it for a drive, I know mine did all kinds of odd vibrations and noises because the slip-yoke on the front tailshaft was worn out

Also check your engine/tranny mounts that might be metal on metal when the engine moves when you take your foot off.
