Hi guys, in the process of stripping the engine and its accs from the engine bay of the 95 Limited that I am wrecking I noticed something that I hadn't seen before.
Has anybody seen this sort of damage in this location before????

had to have mine welded up as well.
you can see where the bolts have been moving - I also had some washers welded on to the bracket to stop the bolts moving - the clearance holes are just too big

I have heard of the steering box mount cracking but I have never heard of the panhard rod mount cracking before.
You learn something new every day I suppose....

I thought it was odd as nothing was tight, normally all of these brackets are very tight but they were all not much more than nipped....

Steve my trail car had this started at steering box mount and stop just above the uca mount
I ended up running 4mm up the outside and underside and just welded the inside up was a big job to fix but happy with it in the end
