For those of us in the nanny state the 15mm larger tyre diameter rule has finally changed, for the last 9 years (as long as I have had my Xj) I have been hearing that the rules are changing "soon" but as at 01/11/12 they finally have!!!

The new rule states that a 50mm lift, providing that at least 2/3rds of original travel in both directions are retained is allowed and a 50mm tyre increase is now finally allowed, this means that the largest tyre allowed here is no longer a 235/75/15, 30x9.50's are finally legit and possibly some of the smaller 31's may be able to squeeze inside the 50mm rule....

Here is a link for those who want to read some more....

Finally my 30's are LEGAL!!!!
