OBD2 scanner

Hey all. Looking at getting an obd2 scanner for my XJ update. Have been looking on eBay and found a Bluetooth unit that hooks up to an android phone using "Torque" software. anybody got any suggestions as I have never used one before.

heya, ive used one from ebay with torque and it is great, tells you everything u need to know, can clear fault codes, data log and monitor economy and pretty much all engine sensor functions.

If it is a diesel engine and if it has a Bosch ecu than quite possible that it wont work.
It should work ok with petrol engine.

if you intend to use it with an ipad you need a wifi one not bluetooth.

but bluetooth one will be fine with an android

i have a scanguage 2 on my xj 2.5 diesel and it works awesome
