wiring to grey 20 connector that attaches to multi function switch

Hi

We need some photos of the grey 20 connector that the multi function switch (with fog lights) connects too, from a 2005/6 TJ. You need to remove some panels from the steering column to view the connection.

Ours has disintergrated and the auto electrican can't work out which wire needs to go where for the replacement connector, and all the info we can find from googling don't match the wiring colours that we have in our TJ.

according to the FSM, grey wire is for left turn signal lamp

This is what I found but the colours don't match our tj. We found wiring diagrams which the auto electrician said will also help.

on my schematic which is for a 2005/2006 the discrepancy is in CAV 2

it lists CAV 2 L61 18G GY

GY = grey

ie connector C1 pin 2 on the multi function switch, circuit L61, 18 gauge, grey wire

from c1 pin 2, the wire connects to C300 which is the instrument cluster ligh indicator, and from there the grey wire connects to C301 which are the lamps

your has it as green

For 05-06 wiring diagrams you need to select Wrangler TJ Unlimited. Then select wiring diagrams and look for the connector pin out section near the end. If there any wires that don't match let me know and I'll check the FSMs I have on my laptop.
