Has anyone come across, seen or used one of these before?

Curious if anyone has bought one, or knows how they work, and if they are any good for JEEP's.

Well I am just curious if it's any good and worth doing to my XJ?
A few people in the states said it is quite good.

There is also this link here http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9352

That shows how the install is done etc.

its not going to make your jeep run cooler , it will run richer for a period as the engine takes longer to warm up ( i doubt its very much longer though). all it does is open sooner than the stock thermostat .

Its probably just one of the main name brands like stant or motorad or something ... repackaged and sold under another name.

That "cherokee" link would appear to be for the Grand rather than an XJ.

The thermostat in the XJ is nothing special ... Its been used in fords and holdens and a bunch of other brands for decades ...

Just buy a known quality brand with a jiggle pin in it and be done with it.
