Heater control not working anymore, had similar prob in past, was due to heater control cable coming off, now suspect the same.
Had it 'fixed' (advised not to turn it all the way since it was 'only just' on there, so want to do it myself this time.
Anyone a tip how to get to it? Taking centre plastic panel off?
Can't find anything on this in the FSM.

Cheers

I know this is one end, but how do I get to it?
Need I remove the whole 3-knob control panel?

Have a look under your glove box. No need to dismantle anything just yet.

The thing that sits around the radio and heater controls. But you don't need to take it off to get to what you showed me.

And yes, thats where the loose cable was, thanks A!
This must have been the easiest repair I will ever do on the Jeep
(once I knew where to find it ;). Still wondering why the guys at my repair shop stated it wass such a hassle the first time....guess they took the other end approach or something.

Anyway, big thank you, again, mate.

Excellent glad you got it sorted. Now I need to see if anyone can come to my rescue before I order bits for my transfer case.
