Hazards flash 3 times with brakes??

Hazards flash 3 times with brakes, what does this mean? Also have a steel mate alarm which beeps with the 3 flashes. Any help?

Sounds like the alarm has a bad power or earth connection and is powering up with the brake lights.

It's exactly 3 beeps every now an then with the brake but. Does that still sound like it could be earth or power? I have no idea about stuff like that.

Haha good old earths for sure I just had a similar thing with my indicators

Yeah, you will prob find that the three flashes of the hazards is actually the alarm. Find the power lead for the alarm and disconnect for a few days and see if the problem goes away.

If disconnecting the alarm doesn't work check the rear lamps for bad bulbs, bad sockets, or bad ground (through the mounting screws to the tub).
