helicoil for caliper slide bolt, what size do I need

Hi guys I am out bush and my caliper slide bolt has fallen out because the knuckle thread is stripped. I now need to get a helicoil installed ASAP but I don't know what size. Can someone help me out so I know what one to ask my mate to get.

I think it was 1/2 unc or unf

Caliper bolts are M8x1.25mmx70mm.

perfect thanks Jonny a helicoil will be easy to get for that size. I now have the bolt from the wreckers today. Now I need to organise it for Tues eve to do the helicoil.
