Hey guys I have a brand new tyre Maxxis AT 771 235/75 R15 on Gumtree, which I am alsking $80 for. Now two people have claimed they can get the same tyre fitted for $105-$110. I am sure that is far from reality but I just want to be sure. They reckon tyre prices have dropped but when I was looking they seemed to be around the $180 mark.
Is there any 4WD tyres 235/75 AT R15 that come in at $105 fitted and balanced. That price to me seems like a car tyre price not SUV.

no idea of prices over there - but presume buyers use same tricks of getting their mates to phone you and claim similar cheap prices to try and make you sell yours cheaper

I'll have a full set at that price...where? My GT Radials cost about $130 a piece and I thought that was a great price.

Yerr I think they are mistaken. I say that because my Federal MTs cost me near $200 ea only six months ago and they are about as cheap as MT's get from what I am aware. Yerr if AT's were $105 theorectically then Mt's are only $135 and no one has them for that price. I too would get another set tomorrow if they were that cheap. The $105 - $110 price are based on Adelaide prices as were mine.

$135 from onlinetires.com, so highly doubtful they would be anywhere near that here!

Yerr the bloke is either BS'n me or he thinks the tyre is the same as a regular car radial. I sorta suspected no one had AT's for $105-$110. Considering Maxxis tyres have apparently gone up in price. Well Bighorns atleast.

I think he is. Because I asked what franchise had them at that price and he failed to answer. Just said most of them have them at the $105 price F & B. When he first said it I thought well F### it I am going to get new tread this week as mine are a bit stuffed on the front due to my buggerd ball joints. Which consequently explains the awful noise they have been making at 100kph, every second edge lug is atleast 3mm below the next.
