I need help please guys!
The TJ keeps throwing on the 'check engine'. It's an 04 auto, I've read the fault code (P0700 and P1899) which points to the neutral safety switch.
This also confirms how the cars drives with occasional erratic gear shifts and occasionally the engine shuts down when going from 'rev' to 'drive'.
I had this confirmed by a Jeep mechanic with their diagnostic equipment.
BUT..... Jeep can't supply me with a new NSS, in fact they can't even find the part on their spare parts system!
Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone know where to get a new NSS?
I need this fixed ASAP!!!!
