Hi,
My 05 TJ is a dead set pain in the butt to try and get petrol into. As soon as it starts flowing, the handle clicks out and it will do this continuously.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Tony,
we discussed this issue at length just recently.

Have a read of this - plenty of hints :)

I've tried every angle bar the 10 o'clock angle. Generally turn it to the right. If that doesn't work, I'm looking for that ping pong ball thingy and ripping it out. Takes me ages to fill the tank and it does my head in.

Have the handle at about 10 o'clock above the flare.
Surprised if that doesnt work.

Happens to every car i pump... push the nozzle all the way in, then pull back out 20mm. the pump is regulated by the pressure of air coming from the tank and it is switching it off cause it thinks your tank is full.

Filled up the TJ today. Set the nozzle at 10 o'clock. 51 litres straight in. Thanks for the tips everyone.
