Do you have a lift? Obviously got a bit of rubbing going on there. Pretty sure You can get a steering dampner relocation bracket which will sort it out. Mine has one but it came already installed so I cant be sure what the go is.

If you look at the right hand side of my steering dampener you can see it is bolted to an L bracket type mount. Pretty sure thats what you need but not 100% sure

Well... Both sides have a L bracket looking at it again.

The problem is that's it's a heavy duty steering stabiliser. Due to the differences between left and right hand drive TJs, the larger diameter heavy duty stabilisers do not fit in the stock mounting position without the sort of damage shown. To sort it out either get a standard sized stabiliser, I don't know where you'd get a stock sized stabiliser in Australia other than dealerships or perhaps Wooders, or a different stabiliser with relocation brackets.

Any idea where to get the relocation brackets

You can knock one up easily enough, or BlackJack welding sell them but either way you'll need to weld it on.

Other than that Wooders was looking at making one but that was over 2 years ago now.

I'm Pretty sure the Rancho kit comes with a different mounting setup, check 4WD1.com

OR Just leave it like 90% of other people seem to, including ARB. If it aint broke don't fix it??

I didn't realise but the original wasn't stock (previous owner) anyway fixed it with a new rancho.

Also OME don't make rhd steering stabiliser even though ARB sold me one :wall:

Thanks for your help :D

Yep, ARB sold me one which crushed straight away, then Wooders sold me a replacement one which was meant to work but which also crushed straight away so i welded a new mount on and changed to a Teraflex one which leaked within weeks. They replaced it without question though and its been on there about 2 years now.

Just for reference these are stock sized replacements for the steering damper. They are the same diameter as the stock damper and won't crush like the thicker heavy duty dampers do. Part numbers from the rockauto site.
