Hi, im in the market for a lift kit for my 2013 JK, and just have a question i hope can be answered here.

Does anyone know the average maximum lift height i can purchase before i have to start adjusting gearing, brake line extensions, steering stabilizers etc?

Any lift kit suggestions suiting this would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

2" lift. Anything after that, you are going to need to change a few things.

2" lift is also the maximum lift allowed in most states before you need an engineers certificate to make it legal.

Also speak to your insurance company as they might not like anything higher than 2".

Even at 2 inch you may require brake line extensions depends on the shock length.

2 inch is generally considered the easiest most effective height to aim for. Starts getting a bit more complicated and expensive and less legal after that.
