I thought I'd better put this up to help people with some questions I'm sure you'll need answering before the weekend.

Is JAD free?

Yes, but if you want to come to the dinner you'll need to pay for that. (It's covered for those coming for the whole weekend in the entry fee)

JAD's basically the show and shine and afternoon trip. But if you want to come for the Ultimate Adventure part of the weekend you'll need to pay the entry.

Do I need to fill out an entry form?

Yes, and I'll need it by wednesday afternoon if you are planning on coming. Entry forms can be downloaded at the JAD'03/UA Site (http://www.falusi.tv/jad)

At this late stage it's probably easier to direct deposit the entry $$$ into our bank account (details also at site) and email me the completed form.

Is there anywhere to get my car ready?

Rolfe Motors are letting us use their wash bays, but they only have two so if you want to use one let me know so I can make sure you get a spot.

What time do I need to be there?

Registration starts from 10AM at the back entrance to Rolfe Motors turn right at the round'bout into Altree Cct . We'll start getting rigs in place for judging around 10.45.

How do I get there?

whereis.com.au (http://whereis.com.au) is a good site to use and you can pretty much use it to get to the gates. In the search, type in Botany Street, Phillip, ACT or if this works, this is the link to it, JAD'03 loc. (http://www.whereis.com.au/search/result.jhtml;$sessionid$RLP5UAYAAB1VZS0Z2WLCDTI?_D ARGS=%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.jhtml.2)

What do I need to bring?

It's up to you, but please ensure you have appropriate recovery points etc on your vehicle as it is highly likely you'll be needing them  Warm clothing is a definate must, as is aerogard/RID etc, wet weather gear, basic recovery gear.

We are going to be having the basic food available during the day at the property such as steak/sausage sambos, bacon & egg rolls, soft drinks etc.

Dinner will be provided on saturday and sunday night's for those that have paid an entry fee. BYO grog (canned beer preffered to ease rubbish removal)

Where is the closest fuel on sunday/monday?

We'll obviously fuel up before we head off from Canberra, but for those whose rigs are thirsty (like my CJ, it's a drunk) there's fuel about 20 -30 mins. away.

What sort of tracks are on the property?

D grade right up to A grade. Weather conditions on the weekend will determine some track grading's.

What we have as B's may end up as C+

If there's anything else I have forgotten, and I most likely have I'll add them when they come to mind or add to the post for me.

Hey Groovers,

If you haven't got your entry in you'd better do it now as COB tomorrow is the cutoff.

Last weekend's final prep trip was a blast. Plenty of night boghole action and then finishing touches on the trails the day after.

This place has EVERYTHING ! Expect lush foliage, crystal creeks (to drive in for up to 40 min!) challenging and not-so-challenging terrain with heaps of options.

see you there !
