Methinks I may cut the 1984 NT 4Door Cherokee down to a "Ute" but I'm more inclined to rip the body off and replace it with a 6-226 pointy nose cabin and styleside utility tray.

Thoughts???

More importantly, are there any 6-226 cabins out there to buy??? graemlins/dunno.gif graemlins/dunno.gif

Ross, there was a pointy nose ute cab for sale recently up here....Paz nicked the diffs - but the cab & chassis are still there (I believe)...might be worth looking into....
Paz any first hand reports??

take the body off the 84, then put your ZJ on top of it. :D than cut the ZJ up to a ute..

Billsta - your a sic puppy smile.gif smile.gif

I would never rip the ZJ onto the Full Size chassis. That would amount to desecration of a full size graemlins/headspin.gif

ZJ ute - Hmmmmmmm graemlins/hot.gif

Nah! Gladiator coming up.....out with the angle grinder! :D

MC, wouldn't mind having a look at your mates project. Maybe in the new year? Get together and talk Jeep for a while.... ;)
Edit - Could we be talking about a certain Dave S. project? If so - seen pictures. Looks like a good thing......

I have been helping on of my mates build a willys ute,its a 48, its not a pointy nose but just as good. the latest thing he has just done is put a full size cherokee chassic under it, the chassic are a bit shorter so you get a stumpy ute. It should be a good thing, he is running a 350,t700and a dana 300 and 35 mtrs,so it should be a good thing.
