View Full Version : DETRIOT ELECTRAC?
Does anyone out there have any experience with these lockers?
Prices, supliers ETC ?
Looking at a front and rear when I do my ratio's and would rather stay away from ARB's if I can,but they will be my next choice.

...... and would rather stay away from ARB's if I can.....
Why??? I mean a preferectly good product that's Aussie made.....if you say completity - I think you'll find the Detroit lekky locker as complex or more.....Beside the most common prob with ARB's is the air line which is easy fixed on the trail....whereas I HATE doing elecrical work...

Nice design - no methane to leak out and kill passers-by in the ensuing gas cloud
Still a 10c fuse could screw your whole day

I'm sure I read somewhere that the electrac can be engaged or disengaged by hand if the electrics play up. Just a matter of jumping under the jeep and locking it it or unlocking.
