Are PMs broken, or is it me?

When I try to send a Private Message I get a 406 error;
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /forum/private.php could not be found on this server.
I'm using Firefox 1.5.0.3 on Debian Linux.

Anyone else getting this, or is it just me?

I don't think so;
Inbox contains 41 messages.
You have 74 messages stored, of a total 350 allowed.
A Google search suggests that it's something to do with mod_security.
Hang on, I'll reboot into Windows and try from there...

...nope no different.

Same error with Firefox 1.5.0.2 and IE 6.0.2800.1106CO, both on Windows 2000.

I've tried a couple of different proxy servers but still get the error. Maybe it's just that I'm using a proxy server at all. I'll try again later from home where I've got a direct connection.
