Still $40,000 starting bid is pushing it, Jeepers are well know for being tight ;) So I doubt it'll be bought by someone who actually plans to wheel it :(

Cheers

If its built by the "BEST Jeep builder known to man" as he says, it should have diff work done to it when its on 36".

is it even drivable on 36" and stock diffs, or are you left with just 1st and 2nd gear?

Some steering componentry has been done, you can see a red panhard in there.

With full suspension kit installed SYE & driveshaft done, my guess is that its had the diffs done. Maybe not lockers tho.

It has lockers and ratios done. It also has "IROK" plates.

Better finds on e-bay? If you could drive it here after bringing it here? And converting the dollars I dont think that would be a fair comparison. Its a very cool rig though.

Don't underestimate stock D30's ;) I've seen them put up with a lot of abuse from people who drive some pretty wild stuff on them.

$45,000+ for a smoking TJ! I'd rather pay $15,000 less for one with a couple of blackberry bush scratches down the side and a bit of rock rash. It's only gunna happen eventually when used for the purpose it was intended for. I don't understand making a vehcile like this and keeping it in 'pretty boy' conditon, like building a drag car to go get the groceries.

like building a drag car to go get the groceries.

Hell if you have the means and a dead straight road to get to Coles why wouldn't you 8-)

what is so confusing with someone keeping their vehicle at showroom condition? its their vehicle, its their investment, they want to keep their looking good, and good for them...
or am i missing something here? is a jeep meant to be thrown into the bush, drag along some rocks?
