Soft top on beach

Hi guys - anyone with any tips on softops on the beach ? Do you drive with the roof up or down ? I would love to go up the beach with the roof down, but I am worried about how much sand is going to end up on the inside !

yer youget lots of sand inside.. but thats the whole experience..
best thing to do is.. before you leave home.. take out all the carpet
that wayyou only have to hose out the sand when youget home.
nothing beats top off on the beach.

Ditto on removing the carpet. Makes cleaning SO much easier. might just get a rubber mat for the rear and leave the carpet out permanently

Too much work taking the carpet out :)

The sand only really gets around your feet when you drag it in so get some big rubber floor mats to catch it. Sand will also enter the rear area when you're doing donuts and being silly so either a tonneau cover or a big mat (from clarke rubber) will help keep it from the carpet. And thoroughly vacuum after each trip!

I recently spent a week up at fraser with my roof and doors off most of the time and because i didn't do too many donuts and stuff up there i didn't get hardly any sand inside. This is when you get sand inside:

Yea, isnt that the reason you buy a jeep..who cares if you get sand in it, and water and mud
