Guys, i just wanted to share with you some recent figures of mine.
The last 24 months i have run MTR's exclusively and my fuel economy figures vary between 15-16L/100klm. My fuel light comes on about 320klm, then i drive another 80klm then fill up and i'm able to get about 62-65L in. If you add the 10% speedo difference it's about 440klm for about 65-70L of fuel.
The last few weeks i have been running my GSA's because i am currently doing a lot of klm for work. I've been keeping an eye on the fuel economy and tonight i filled up. My fuel light came on about 370klm, then i drove it until 430klm then filled it up. I only just managed to force 60L into it meaning the jeep had another 12 or so litres in the tank and fuel lines, maybe good enough for another 60-80klm which puts me over 500klm for the tankful or about 13L/100klm. So long live the GSA
:monkey:
And yes, my jeep does look poxy with 29" tyres and a 2" lift but you can see my bright red ranchos really easily and i can drag commodores again :)
