no ideas at all from you a$$holes?

it has been 2 hours and not even a suggestion.....

i have managed to get a pitman arm remover over the top and try and push the TRE out, this didn't work, not even with the ratchet strap and the hammer.... what the hell is the story here?

Buy a tie rod remover tool thingy from Repco/Supercheap/Wherever. No more nosebleeds from working your arse off ;)

might have been contributing factors other than Rob's socket and welded on wheel nuts ;)

tried that to :)

the tre remover did the trick, was a messy bastard of a job, but it did come off, with full pressure on the remover then turning the wheel a few times and the remover popped off, looked at the tre again and it was most of the way out, grabbed it with my hand and it pulled off. then of course i broke the pitman arm remover (you (wooders) where right, newer model or not it won't come off with the pitman arm remover) so out with the grinder, just gota pop up to bunnings and get a cold chisel :)
