Nope - only the Pioneer is the head unit. The GPS sits elsewhere and uses the head unit as the display.

Nah, I was stupid and didn't think about it before pulling it out.

Looks very similar to the head unit in this photo: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/images//big/bigavhp7800dvd.jpg except the bottom of the unit is silver and doesn't have the LCD display. The 7800 in the photo is the later model.
