Lots of marine life on the west or east. Dolphins that's at Monkey Mia 10hours north of Perth and yes they come up to you, you can see then all over the coast line. You can swim with the Wale Sharks. I dive and snorkel and WA has a few spots for that. Some as close as the Island of Perth called Rottnest. In Perth there is the Under-Water World good spot to see some marine life.
