Yeah still in the same place sold the TJ few months ago because I needed a 5 seater, got a ZG Grand but didnt like it so decided to get the jk, loving the jk.

Wife and I both wave...

She wants to letter the windshield with, " Silly boys jeeps are for girls". I believe she saw that back when we lived in Halifax, NS.

Gods country! I lived there 20 years before I found God's Country down here in Tassie! LOL. I used to work down Dixon rd making concrete. From memory the place was as flat as. Had to travel to the Ranges to get anything like a hill!! :)

Gods country! I lived there 20 years before I found God's Country down here in Tassie! LOL. I used to work down Dixon rd making concrete. From memory the place was as flat as. Had to travel to the Ranges to get anything like a hill!! :)

I've often thought about moving to tassie I love it there. Yep nothing exciting here we usually play in Harvey.

There are more JKs in Port Kennedy than anywhere else on the planet. **) Seriously, we have two JKs, my mate up the road has a JK, his friend has a JK, my brother-in-law has a JK, there are at least two more at my kids' school and we have a couple of friends with Grand Cherokees. And that's just the people we know. You must live in the wrong part of PK! :rolleyes:

You're not wrong there are heaps of jeeps around the rocky area. I see at least 1 TJ, 1 or 2 JK's & 3 cherokees of different sorts everytime I go out.

i have a job in the shopping centre in rockingham at the moment. Take a walk through the centre and in 5 minutes you realise you are in rockingham. Long goatee beards are over represented. kids having kids. Family's of 5 kids or more with a single parent. Trackie-dacks everywhere. 90% of folk would not win any survival of the fitest competitions..... its just so rockingham.

Na, im electrician, im not in retail... but if you say you work in the centre at donut king and the coffee place next to it, you get a discount.

Also, look at all the UNIT and SKIN clothing there.

The section is north from Mundijong road. Don't go alone. It's been a few years since I did it last but it took us nearly 3 hours to get 2 cars through.

Would it be ok for another Jeeper to come along?

I am a member of JOCWA and do head to there meetings but its just getting to far to travel.
I work in Nth Freo by the time I get home, shower, eat get to the meeting and back its a pretty long day with 200-300km to be traveled just to get there.

We welcome anyone/ any vehicle. At the moment there are more patrols than any other make but we now have 4 jeeps (I have 2) in the club. We are a small family oriented club with 32 members & try to have 2 outings a month.

I'll see you guys there.

Plus the petition thing was done 15-20 years ago or something...

Was there at the protest and signed the petition....

It was a shame because we would take the kids and the dogs almost every weekend for a swim and watch the sun go down with a brownie or two...

Now I'm up in the hills in Jarrahdale :D but still head to Rocko now and then.
There are a few Jeeps up here in timber counrty.

I don't know if you've noticed too, but I'm seeing more and more new jeeps on the roads... I think people are catching on...

1st post

Hi, im in Rivervale just moved hear and own a black 2002 grand cherokee larado, with slight lift, on 32's 265 coopers, front nudge bar, tint.

1st Jeep I've owned and to date has been a great car, love the dunes, mud and coastal drives.

Mods for xmas including high flow exhaust, dual tips and roof rack.

Keen to catch up with other jeepers as all my mates with 4x4's have nissan and toyotas.

Chuck us a wave next time.
