can anyone recomend a good mechanic in brisbane? i will be purchasing a lift kit from 4wd 1 and need someone to fit it. the closer to morningside the better. cheers.

You will have problems getting a mechanic in Brisbane that is willing to fit a lift kit over a couple inches for you due to liability and enforcement of laws.


Jeepology, I believe you were warned about this some time ago.

there is a few members on here that are good at swinging spanners... you could pay one of them to do it.

I had my lift kit fitted by Hammond 4WD a couple of weeks ago...it's a 3.5" RE kit off Wooders and Procomp shocks. Hammonds didnt have any drama fitting it and made a great job....

Depends how financial you are and what your skill level is - my skill level with spanners is low needless to say.
