while doing stock take at work (next 3 months!)
I found the following listed under jeep
what the hell is its appears a type of universal but .....................
have several sim some appear to be a weld on type

thanks don't have one on my cj4 that I have found ??
are they bits to extend the drive shaft when lifting ?? if so think we have the rest sitting on the shelf as well

Nah mate, doesn't extend.
They are on my XJ and they are on Hiluxes too. (front drive shafts) They help with tighter angles, make the shaft a little more 'flexible'. It's esentialy 2 uni joints together.

Yep that was my call too. If its a OEM part will be for front shaft.
