my dad as an about 03 troop carrier (still havnt convinced him 2 buy a jeep). he has tasked me with researching some mods for him. he wants to be able 2 run 35s and a 2-4inch lift. is this easy 2 do on this car?? wat i mean is, will the lift be just a standard coil and leaf change (like no long/sort arm crap) and will he be able 2 run 25s without regearing? i dont know wat tyres 2 get either, defently a mud, but he likes skinny tyres (he has the cheese cutters on there now) does any brand come out in a 35, but smaller than 12.5 wide?? he has the 6 inch rims atm but wat will he need 2 swap to??

thx

Assuming your talking cruiser troopy, yeah a lift is easily done. You can even look at body lift to fit bigger rubber. 35's in a narrow tyre can be easily had if you go to a 15" rim as there are more options then in all major brands. If you want narrow look for a 16x8 rim .

BUR MONSTER, WHY ARE U IN JEEP FORUM ASKING ABOUT TOYOTAS? IF YA WANT GOOD INFO ABOUT TROOPYS GO THIS WEBSITE, http://www.4wdmonthly.com.au/forum/

AND LOOK AT THE TOYOTA SECTION, OR ASK ONE OF MEMEBERS, TROOPYMAD SHOULD BE YOUR BEST BET.

GOOD LUCK WITH IT ANYWAY.

Sorry the thought of a Troopy traversing any terrain that requires it to have 35's and a 4inch lift sounds like a rollover going to happen really quickly.
