Eco-shield

Does anyone know what ECO-SHIELD ADVANCED PAINT PROTECTION is? It was applyed to my JK before I picked it up from the Dealer. Some people tell me its a good thing while others tell me it will be a problem in the long run. Any Ideas?

My tip is its an overpriced marketing gimmick, but my Jeeps paint is 26 years old and falling off so what would I know.

But most likely a silicon based paint protection product, with a fancy Eco name to make you feel all friendly to the environment.
