Hi,
Does anyone have this winch fitted to their rig?
What do they think?
Is it a12volt or 24 volt winch? How do you know?

I don't have one now. However I did several years ago. It was big and it was HEAVY. I think all up with the wire it is 70 plus kilos. They made both 12 and 24 volt models. Well made but like I said very very heavy.

Only the motor changese between most of the 24V and the 12V Warns.
Can I interest you in a 12 V 12000lb Warn??

i would have thought this would be fairly obvious to a hard core wheeler like yourself.

Hmmmm, with a lot of lowmount bars nothing bigger than an XD9000 will fit....... or maybe a XP9.5 with the fins ground off the cover (but they are still a bit longer than a 9000). I found that in swapping the 9000 to a 9.5 in the Pootrol.
Bigger reduction gears in a 10,000 make em longer... and a bit fatter in the gearbox too.

used to have one on my tj before the high mount
they weigh less a high mount and pull pretty solid. high mount is so much better it's not funny. it's a bit slower than a 9000lb lowmount
i'd prefer a 9500 over it though, over kill for the tj.
