Hey guys. I am new to this forum as well as new to Jeeps in general. I just purchased my brothers from him and know stuff all about them. Its a 97 soft top 3 door. Thats about all i know! lol. I have a question and was hoping someone could help me out with...My brother has a whole new set of wheels for the Jeep still in the boxes (Black steel ones) and i wanted to put them on and piss off the alloy mag rubbish that are on there but when i tried to find out what new wheel nuts cost for em (open ended ones) the quote said $19 EACH!!! so will go broke when i have to buy 20 of them. So the question is... Are there any other brand of cars (like Ford/Holden) that the wheel nuts are interchangeable? Hope this does'nt sound like a dumb question....Thanks guys..
Mick

Yes its sounds like it but we (try to sell) holden nuts for rodeo steel wheels are $30.60 each its a pure rip plain and simple. I'd love to know where manufactures come up with some of these prices

Since I dont know what thread they are. Mr Extreme Jeep did say go to a ford wrecker.
In this case I would go see repco or someone and ask for trailer wheel nuts to suit ford studs and as Smashed said they should cost next to nothing

trya trailer manufacturer. they put a few different hubs on their trailers and most have the hubs and nuts made aftermarket. they'll probably sell you a full set for $5.00. they cost nothing to make.

Nope! Too much chrome & neons & stick on crap there. Maybe they sell other stuff too, but to me, it's like buying a beer at a gaybar.

Why can't you fit the OE nuts?

They are 1/2" nuts, same as every Falcon ever built.
