Hey guys & Gals,

I just had my GME 3100 installed with a 6.6DB aerial ($360 installed)... I know it works cause I have managed to hear some folk on it...

But what channel do most people sit their radios on? I was told losely

5 is emergency
rest are hit and miss

They thought 1 and 2 was southern suburbs traffic and 2 and 3 was northern suburbs traffic...

I am northern suburbs but some of the traffic I hear is based in kewdale...

Maybe I should just leave it off except when I am wheeling??

I have tried to search on here for more info / radio ediquite but cant find anything...

Hey Gravel,

Sorry been away, Heard some folk yesterday on chanel 5 carring on... thought it was reserved for emergency? But then again I guess how do you get caught right?

Cool will keep an ear on chanel 16, I saw a nice yellow rig heading north on the freeway arround greenwood station, approx 5:30ish... I think he had chanel 16 displayed on the rear window of the flattop... nice rig :)

Cheers
