[b]Running an Iphone?[b]

Ok for those that want to use taptalk on their iphones

search for tapatalk in your appstore, then you have 2 options the free read only version or the $3 full version

once you've made your mind up and installed it click on the search button on the top right of your screen type in ausjeep and it should auto find it for you, if not hit the search button, once it finds it click on it and ausjeep will load, now you can log in and away you go, it's all pretty self explanitory after that just have fun spamming

I'm sure it would be a one of payment.

If it's a monthly thing I wont buy it.

Once only - click the link to the site at the bottom of the pics from Jimmyb.

Strange there is no version for windows based phones.

I am not paying $3.99 for an app that might crash,
Yeah ok so safari on iPhone can b a little slow at times, but I can't justify the coin!
Maybe if ausjeep got some of it yeah.
If you have an iPhone I sugest you read all the reviews in the app store before purchasing it. I honestly don't know how it got a 4 * rating????

Not for me, I'll pass for now.
Appreciate the effort your going to!

In terms of AJOR getting anything, no we dont. The only way we would have is if I paid a branding lic of $999USD which then meant the $2.99 fee would be 100% for ausjeep. This means over 300 people would have to use it before any profit was made.

But really for convience, its the first app I have paid for on my phone and think its more than worthwhile.

For all the people who want to try and look professional, but really dont know the difference between a lug nut and a wheel nut, Blackberrys are awesome.

Lets all just hope for their sake that canada never gets nuked!

I will hold this POV until bb gets activesync

Blackberry = ability to view calendar availability, set out of office and initiate calendar requests - that shits all over active sync.

And before you start hating - I have an iPhone 4 (and a ispankPad), HTC Desire and a Blackberry that is running OS6 (hasnt been released in Australia yet).

iPhone is good for play but BB suits ME better for my job....

Anyways back on topic - Tapatalk is great - I can AJOR from the couch...

You must mean the Blackberry 9800, I have one of those...I will use this app for sure..

I like how Tapatalk displays the top 20 most recent posts, compared to 9 on the front page of AJOR website. This is on my iPhone. I hardly use the web to view AJOR on my iPhone, it's too slow compared to Tapatalk.

Theres a new version for the Windows Phone 7 (http://www.board-express.com/) now, but it tells me the forum needs to upgraded to a later version of Tapatalk for the windows version to work :(

Only have the read only version at this point as I wanted to see how it works, seems good, but I cant log in - prob something to do with the site needing an upgrade.

But at least theres finally a windows version! Any chance of updating the site Jimmy?

Jimmyb, was there any luck in upgrading the tapatalk plugin? Still can't log in with the windows7 version (board express)

Jimmyb

Havnt been able to track anything down on it thus far sorry seacomms. Do you use Tapatalk on Win7?

SeaComms
27-07-2011, 06:34 PM
Been trying to. Its a program called board express for tapatalk, that I guess ports tapatalk to windows 7 mobile. I can view the forums but I can't log in, i get an error every time telling me it can't find the server.

When i first fire up the forum it gives me warning that the forum needs a newer version of the tapatalk plugin and that some features won't work, do i want to continue anyway?

So am still using the W7 mobile version of internet explorer when out and about (like now for instance...) :D

Ahhh.. More info found from the board express forums..
Hi

This is unfortunately something which can only be solved at the moment on server side.
Microsoft is sending a Refer Header with every webrequest. Some forums are denying requests with this referal - with the hint that the Refer is not on the white list. Unfortunately, there is no way to currently suppress this Refer Header as Microsoft - smart as they are - did hardcode this into WP7 (and lots of devs are complaining about it...!)
Here's the link to the Microsoft support forum:
http://forums.create.msdn.com/forums/t/63150.aspx

We're still looking with Microsoft if there is a solution to this.
Only way to solve it until then is to disable the security check on server side.

Thanks,

Sven

I know of two ways of posting/replying to a post.
1) tap on the thread and the reply option will pop out 63346
2) tap the menu buton for options (the soft key next to the home key)

It's a longer road for a new topic, go to Forums and then to the sub-forum you want then choose the options (my Xperia Z is three dots in the corner) and you should see New Topic.
