i have one in my front D30.
no ratching or any noise what so ever. dont even know its there in 2wd.
only slightly more heavier steering in 4wd. i wouldnt put it in the rear tho. an auto locker is better in the front diff from all that i read in most USA posts.
installed it myself. its pretty easy.

get one that turns off/on for 2wd road manners.
i have an eaton e-locker in a box waiting to be installed for the rear.
why dont you be the first to install a no-slip in your rear and tell us if its good or bad. :D

i regret a little in buying the eaton e-locker and not an arb. only cause i think the arb is the strongest.
but i intend on only using the rear locker when i get into some really tricky spots. i get by with just an auto locker in the front so with a rear locker when i really need it is a good idea.

I think you will be more than happy with your elocker, the boys I wheel with have swapped over to the elockers after having their arb air lockers explode & they would never fit another arb airlocker, they cant say enough about the elockers
