Hi guys,
I've been surfing this forum for a while doing some research on Wranglers and now we've finally bought one...

it's a 06 TJ 65th anniversary
2.5in lift
UHF
31's
rear storage
hard and soft top
stereo
Light forces
Exhaust
6speed man
51,000kms

I plan on fitting a
SYE, and a Stage 2 RockCrawler Suspension Kit from 4wd1,
Long range tank,
snorkel,
32in bfg's or Maxxis bighorns on 15in steelies.
body armour :)

personally i would lift it higher with a long arm kit and run 33's or 35's, but this is the Missus's car and a daily driver.

I'm not too worried cause i have a 5in lifted and locked GQ trol runnin 35's it's the weekend basher / tourer / jeep recovery vehicle

The only prob is that she wants me to paint the springs and arms pink

This will be just a play toy / daily

Now we gotta fly to bris to bring it back to cairns :)

I would be careful drawing attention by painting suspension components pink since 2in lift is all thats legal in QLD. For that matter 31's arent on a TJ anyways LOL :) (+15mm max)

Although judging by the Pootrol's stats you prob already knew that :)

5 inch locked GQ would still go like sh't....

yeah, i'm not too worried about "legalities". I've noticed here in FNQ the cops dont usually care, as long as the car dont look unsafe. The anount of highly modified 4wds here is amazing, every 3rd car is a lifted 4wd :)

pink bits are better than the whole car being painted pink that she wanted....

maybe your rear flex, all in all though.

still a gq and has no front travel unless you undo that front lower arm bolt ;)

Highly modified you say??Munter, there aren't too many high modded 4wd's up here as compared to other states, mainly coz our tracks are sh!t.

Nice TJ, great to hear it's your missus's Jeep. You will have to come out wheeling with the other FNQ jeepers. There are starting to be more and more jeeps coming out of the woodwork up here at the moment which is awesome.:D

Would your GQ be a white ute by any chance??
