Transfer case Linkage - HELP....

Really need some help........

Got a new clutch installed and for some reason the mechanic can't get the transfer case selector linkage back to normal...

When leaver in car is in 2H position the transfer case is selecting 4L - it's like it's backwards.. Anyone had this before / offer any advice?

Can someone take photos of the linkage so i can have him do it right

forgot to mention - in this setup we can only get it into 4L or 4H - can't get 2H, so it's pretty much un drivable..... EEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr

Sounds like its out of adjustment, there is an adjuster under the car at the lever end of the rod , try moving that or search it as i,m sure its on here somewhere.

AAAHHHHhhhh - thats the sound of it all being fixed...... Bloody link on transfer case was facing up not down - thus reversing all actions made by the lever....

Chalk that up to a trap for young players :-)

if that was my mechanic, when he asked the acc to be payed i would laugh and walk away if he added his mistakes to the cost.

same thing happened to me. took me and my mate 1 and a half days on our backs trying to figure this out. hahaha funny stuff though
