g'day all,I have 2x 2005 cherokee kj 2.8 diesel vehicles,one is a limited edition,i bought it some time back and am planning to get it back on the road.It had 11 odd error cods,one of being the po513 skim key,the car came with 2 keys and 2 gateway modules,i tried all variations of the components and at best it would run then go into some limp mod and start loosing dash components, like tacho,oil light came on fuel gauge went empty etc,and in other variations it would stop.
so i changed out key,fob,gateway and pcm from other vehicle which ran fine,it also runs fine in the other vehicle.i also fitted the parts from problem vehicle to the previous runner and well it also runs fine no codes in either,so i switched back and first vehicle is back to no go and lots of codes . changed again and both vehicles are good again,anyone have any ideas whats going on,thanks
update: ok i'm thinking its the keys as it played up today,i'm after a key programmer and some new keys so we will see
