The better shot that springs to mind is in MY driveway!!!!! Let us know on here next time you take Willyz to a show , would be great to see it in the "flesh".
Would take 6 figures to get the truck out of my hands.
Will let you know when I start going to shows again.
    Cheers, Marcus.

I dont doubt the 6 figures at all, its plain to see how much care and skill thats gone into the build I would be surprised if any amount of cash would be enough.
Will look foward to seeing Willyz in real life sometime.

Cool. I hope to get better at talking to people about it as not so good at doing it, until I get going, then it is hard for me to stop.
        Cheers, Marcus.

With so much WH components I am interested to know if Willyz drives like a WH . I also wondered why you chose a 5.7 hemi against say the 3.0 crd.....That was untill I read about your old Hilux with the 400 Chevy in it! So guessing its mostly about performace. Willyz wheelbase must be longer than a WH jgc, so may be an factor.

It drives better than the standard WH, and the engineer and roadworthy places both reported it. It actually drives even better now as have replaced the standard WH shocks with Bilstein, but still using the WH stock springs. I setup all the geometry and wheel travel to the millimetre the same as the WH donor.
Wheel base is 8.5" longer in the truck, but have moved the engine back 7" to behind the axle centre line. Technically now a mid mount. This has improved the handling further over the WH as there is no weight on or in front of the front axle. I use a stock SRT8 WH driveshaft, as they are longer due to the different transfercase, to make up the 2" difference.
V8 for performance and the sound.

You must be happy with how it drives then, my WH drives pretty good so just imagining it upgraded by one or two stars!! So the Willyz not only looks really great but has handling to match its looks, unreal. I like the diesel for towing but its hard to argue against the 5.7 for performance and sound thats for sure. Looking forward to seeing Willyz at a show!!

It has been engineered for the full 3500kgs and the longer wheel base makes it more stable too.
Had the auto tuned along with the engine for good towing as well by Dontex.
                Cheers, Marcus.
