    Bloody radicals!!

I see that Simon Christie of 4WD TV fame managed to stop Great Northerns Beer's contributions to some "greens" network that wanted to close off more public land and turn it into national parks. Christie argued, rightly in my opinion, along the lines that this was just another way of closing off even more public land without any real need to do so. It wouldn't be so bad if the national parks that we already have were managed much better than they are, which is minimally in my opinion. Enough with national parks. Their poor management is a contributing factor to the extreme bushfires the country has been experiencing over the last few years or so. What do you all think?

And another thing, I think it's well past time for corporations to focus on their core business instead of jumping up and down to the demands of small but noisy radical extremist groups. The memberships of these groups most often latch on to catch cries and pithy slogans without much in the way of truth or meaning or understanding of their own blather. This is a nice way of saying that they can't tell the difference between shit and clay. Virtually all radical noise makers will in time become part of all that they so vociferously decry. What do you all think about this?

I checked with the Laverton Shire Council that is responsible for closures on parts of the Connie Sue and Anne Beadell tracks. Apparently there was some washout of the track in March 2024 rains though how they know this is anyones guess since no council officers go on to the track apparently. The north end of Connie Sue is pretty good dry weather road and used by indigenous communities and the western end of the Anne Beadell is also pretty good from when i did it a few years ago. The answer I got from council was that it was delaying opening the tracks while they waited to get funding from the govt for "flood damage relief". Go figure. At that rate every road in Victoria would need to be closed while waiting for "damage relief".
