    Towbar for a Gladiator

    Hi all,
Getting a used Gladiator shortly but it does not have a tow bar… Any opinions on the aftermarket towbar eg Hayman Reece, carasel or any other type???

I fitted the Mopar kit. 15 mins for the bar then about an hour for the comprehensive loom.
It was the wife's car, NOW IT'S MINE FOR THE MODDING!

Hi people new guy here in the same boat.I see there's already a towbar of sorts back there but there's no hitch receiver and not wired ready like the US versions.
Is there a hitch receiver available and wiring loom?
I see confusing versions that state they fit a Gladiator but my towbar looks more like it accepts a differently mounted version maybe a Wrangler, don't know.
I need to tow 2000kg so don't really need the heavy duty towbar if I can get away with it, hoping to save a few $ by using what I already have. Some of the receivers can be had for only $150 so a good saving if it can be done.
          Any help greatly appreciated.

Best to get the Mopar kit either from Jeep or Double Black Offroad that includes the hitch and the very comprehensive wiring harness, then its done properly. I picked mine up for $990 and installed myself.

Thanks Big Dave, I found this info while searching, is this the Mopar kit you speak of ? https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/f...rubicon.63922/

If so probably going to be overpriced, I'm waiting on a quote from Jeep and will post for others to consider.

That's an American site and they have different options to us. The first photo shows what we have as standard fitment behind the bumper.

We have a few options for kits but they are essentially all the same including the comprehensive wiring that connects into the ecu.

You can get a kit from Jeep (Mopar), Hayman Reece https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/29493838...IaAo9IEALw_wcB or here https://www.fastfitbullbars.com.au/p...4d-ute-2020-on
They are all around the $900 mark supply only. The hitch bit is the easy cheap bit, the harness is complex and the exxy bit.

Here are a couple of pics of the instructions for the Mopar kit I have.

Ah now I get it, the pics show it all thanks. I thought I would be getting a complete towbar for a $1000 bucks like the yanks do. It's just the receiver, thats ok.
Jeez ol mate in NZ paid up for his $1800!!!!!
Quote from local Jeep came in at $1000 supply only.
