I'm intrigued as to what the improvement kit entails, I know when I put the Jeeperific in I will have "Tell Tales" on everything to see what was pulled or not..........
I know it sounds horrible but just found out I have a wake to attend down the sunny coast and its only a couple of blocks from the dealers ........... I wonder if ????? My old friend would say Go for It, that I do know.........

Off Topic but just discovered "7 Slot Offroad" has moved from Ormeo to Jimboomba, another Grand Plan needs to be sorted out now...............

Same here I am upset I did not try to get it out of them before leaving the place. It was a bit rushed. One another thing I am upset was that when I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my taxi, I noticed one of the mechanics checking out the cars parked at the front and lining them up for the day and this guy somehow managed to trigger the panic alarm on my car to find it. It was that beep beep beep alarm and I swear he used the remote. As soon as he spotted the car he turned it off. Regret not running outside to ask him it happened so quick and thought it would be awkward to ask! I know my remote does not even have the button so he must have known a combination of buttons to do it. All I have managed so far is to make it single horn chirp on two presses of lock button (using JScan to bring out the settings menu) and I use that sometimes to find the car from lots or just to sound cool lol. Off topic but it is now eating my head lol haha.

Just wondering if anyone has had a “High Pressure Fuel Pump” actually fail in their JGC in Australia?

Did you just go through and physically check if your VIN was there, or did you use the “find in page” feature of your browser to check for your VIN?
I only ask because I went through the VIN No’s to see if I could see mine and I couldn’t find it, but when I used the “find on page” feature of my browser, my VIN was in fact there! There seems to be no “set sequential order” to the VIN No’s, and that’s why I missed my VIN.

Okay, recall completed and picked up and confirmed no touching of the ECU. Although, if you didn’t get the old reflash recall it’s a reason they may/can check to get it done as well. The improvement kit, well I am told a new “separator” whatever that means so the mystery continues. Two fuel lines replaced as expected.Difficult to pursue the separator part as could only talk to the intake staff.

Separator could be referring to, or adding to, the metal filter element / screen on the HPFP that was disintegrating.

None reported in Aus that I've seen across the various forums, including comments of the same from experienced Jeep and independent techs.

Yeah I'm with LaCheese, haven't heard of any here in Oz or Europe only the US ........... and going from reports its more down to piss poor lubrication in the US grade diesel fuel and bad priming protocol ......... our diesel is in line with Euro standards and has better lube properties....

I have read of mods in the US for other engines using the CP4 pump and that entails an after market end filter screen which is supposed to hold the crap in the pump if the insides implode, where at the moment if the insides chew up the screen can't handle it all and fails so it then flows right thru the injector and return system..........

Mousie, you have just gave me a brilliant idea, I had forgotten about Key star, I got my WG from them many moons ago and if I get the Jeeperific done at KeyStar my favourite shop is just down the road in Margate and my grand daughter lives nearby and will surely be glad to play taxi driver for her Pop.............. now that sounds like a plan, could be expensive but a good plan..

Is it just a day job of a fix or several days? Depends on the talent of the apprentice they get to fettle your car on the day I guess. Haha
