    Had the wheel off today, looked at brakes while attending to other things and thought it works, plenty of meat on pad, put measuring caliper on disc all good leave alone, had other things to find .................

      I remember I had a wheel squeak one time...a looong time ago back in the 70's in my CJ5. I had fat Sunraysia chrome rims on it with 35's...out of the blue a front wheel began squeaking while rolling along slowly, but went away after speeding up a bit. It turned out to be a couple of slightly loose wheel nuts would you believe. Don't know whether you'd get that with a Mag wheel these days as the nuts are sort of countersunk and not so much steel against steel...
