Is my 2010 WH Grand Cherokee Laredo diesel finished?

I know Richard at Jeeps R Us. He has had the same problem with even the earlier ones ,no second hand ones around either!We have now gone to a supposed supplier
in Europe !

Good luck...hoping that gives you a solution....Adrian D on here seemed to have a lot things covered.....maybe a supplier as well ????

Ive just returned from picking up my 2009 WH Deisel from my mechanic, replacement of AC Compressor and Condensor with all parts sourced from Rockauto.

Steve is/was the most experienced and qualified mechanic/technician for Hobart Jeep prior to him setting up his own business at home because he was sick and tired of Jeeps approach to customer service back in 2016. What he doesnt know about Jeeps could be written on the pack of a postage stamp....

I mentioned your dilemma to him. His comment was..

Tell him to not go down a rabbit hole and overthink it. The ABS control unit on all WH's was pretty common across the entire model run as , along with a multitude of other Jeep/Chrysler products at the time both Left & Right hand drive. If Rockauto have it listed for the year/model it will fit... Just tell him to use a well credentialed mechanic who knows Jeeps. They need to know how to use a scan tool and calibrate it... If yours had the same problem I would tell you to order it...

Ed in Lithuania, don't know what the company name is now, he often trades with an English ID, is a very smart & helpful guy. He used to be on Ebay GB & EU. He sells both new & secondhand parts.

Well after weeks of trying to source a new or second hand ABS module,success at last! First sucess was this week ,found a Canadian auto electronics repair company who had spare chips for my module a guaranteed they could repair mine! $1300.00AustnThen yesterday delving further into the part numbers found a company in Florida who had a new ABS module exact same part numbers as mine ,$490 Australian delivered! So the old 2010 GC has had a stay from the wreckers!
