His comment referred to what he sees from Safari. It was good but not as good. Mine was because of a ridge line in the curved section. Its like the mould for the bottom piece doesn't line up correctly with the top. Its up to 3mm or so in the middle. Its something I'll contact Gibson about and see whats going on.

Accross the top here, speaking of which Palla did you get yours done ?


It stops debris, dirt leaves, anything falling down & getting caught.

I know what you mean about the lip in the middle but its not really like you stare at it after its on :P !!! I think its got something to do with the molding process, Michael said something to me about that one day, cant remember what exactly though . ?

Do not use silicon as it will eat into the paint work! Use polyurethane.

Did another Snorkel install yesterday - Happy Birthday Flash013

(PS, the silicone I use is non corrosive and doesnt harm paintwork, I checked )

Polyurethane is also the best to bond to the snorkel if you talk to Gibson about it. It is also used in sticking on trim by the car companies. Also never any confusion about having the right type which is a huge problem when you say to use silicon without any reference to exactly which one should be used.
