It's good fun but a lot of work with the basic tools. I've made a few knives but they are not of a great quality. Good steel good edge but look like shite. No worries beating them around though.

I found kumho tyres really good on the beach due to their soft sidewall. Never had to go below 14 psi on my navara. But avoid if you want to do rocky or muddy terrain.
