The bolts definitely need to be replaced with new as they stretch.. after you bolt the head back together and torque spec the bolts you need to run the engine up to full operating...

Definitely try that first ... you will know if it's just the lsd clutch plates catching or if it's teeth missing its slips and clunks ... you will need to know the ratio of the spare most standard...

Sometimes it can be as simple as changing the diff oil the d35 lsd gets real noisy and doesn't like to turn corners especially in reverse when running standard diff oil it must have lsd gear oil .....

I am having a lot of difficulty removing the 8mm bolts from the transfer case end as there is little space to get a socket in and the ring spanner just rounds off while the open end does the same...

Yes I have had the same issue can't get it local had to do ebay .. took 2 days had to wait but at least it was the full replacement kit

May be a silly question.. if I've disconnected the fuel lines and got air in them how do i bleed the air bubbles from the line ... just trying to diagnose my starting issue and when it does start...
