There is a rubber grommet on the firewall behind the battery and as you can see from the couple of photos attached I have both the power and Ariel cables going through. You just have to feel around...

Mine Fell of on the way home from its first service so I screwed it back but wasn't hopeful. Fell of again while I was up north as I had over 100ks of gravel road. ----- Thank god for Cable Ties.
